While working with her students, particularly musical theatre performers, voice teacher Kim Stern noticed a lack of a warm-up that addressed the need to integrate vocals with dancing. Kim brought Deidre Goodwin on-board for dance part of the equation and through their collaboration, The Broadway Warm-Up (BW) was born.
A completely synchronized vocal and dance warm-up, BW was designed so movement frees the voice and the voice is organically connected to movement. It isn’t meant to replace regular voice lessons, dance classes or training. It is a WARM-UP designed to prepare you for an auditions and performances so you remain healthy, focused and are able to consistently give 100%.
